An Internet MBA degree program allows you to take courses and receive your MBA degree over the internet. This is similar to a distance learning MBA degree, an option that allows students to get an MBA degree without attending a physical campus. Before the Internet became widely available, this involved students being mailed videos or DVDs and completing assignments remotely. Nowadays, distance learning MBAs, internet MBA programs, and online MBAs are really all the same thing; they are discussed in more detail on the MBA online page.
A typical Internet MBA degree program will utilize an industry-standard browser to deliver content (documents, e-textbooks, videos of lectures) and exams. It will also allow you to collaborate on and upload assignments using a software package such as Blackboard. As software becomes more sophisticated, the ability to support collaborative team assignments in an Internet MBA degree should continue to improve as well.
